Dose Dial Merchandising

Dosist asked us to create several pieces to celebrate the launch of their new product the “dose dial.”
The dose dial is a dispenser for an edible tablet with a precise micro dosage of cannabis.
First we were tasked with creating a piece that provided some information and displayed the actual product.
These are some of my favorite initial concepts.

Ultimately the client was drawn to the wedge shaped concept because of the effect that the layered acrylic and graphics provided. They also liked the fact that a wedge shape could sit upright or flat on its back. Below are some concepts that take this idea further and explore how we were thinking about manufacturing.

The final concept features a bent acrylic wedge that can be shown either on counter or under counter. Graphics can be easily switched out depending on desired orientation of display.

Podium Display

In addition to the wedge shaped display we were asked to come up with a “hero” display that drew attention to the dose dial. We wanted to put the dial on a podium as if it was in a museum and started playing around with minimal yet impactful concepts. We landed on this 360° concept that captures the dial in action dispensing a tablet. The product is suspended in a panel in the center of the podium with a colorful graphic that indicates which formula is being displayed.

Vertical Display

This display was needed simply to save space on shelf while displaying as many packaged dials as possible.

Sachet Display

This simple display is intended to live beside a cashier and dispenses a sachet with three tablets to customers.
